Northern Latitudes Brewery

We will be an independent pico brewery starting up in Orkney.

I’m working hard towards getting our tiny operation up and running. There are still a number of practical and legal steps I have to go through before I will be able to start brewing.

I’ll be hand crafting small batches of rich, dark, velvety smooth and luxurious beer. Each will be matured for an extended period to allow the flavours to develop fully.

This will be beer worth waiting for.

Fresh is not always best. Highly hopped and lower alcohol beers are often at their best when young. With malt-forward, stronger beers, time can bring out remarkable depth, richness and complexity.

This is the approach I will be taking.

Online only

My beers will be available online only. The brewery is located at a private residence and is not open to the public.

There is no visitor access, tours, tastings or shop at the brewery.

So, if you are planning a trip to Orkney, please don’t put Northern Latitudes Brewery on your itinerary. There isn’t anything here for visitors to see and I won’t be unable to welcome you or show you around.

When the beers are ready you’ll be very welcome to order them online and enjoy them wherever you are.
